"40 years and now a bench. My brother has been coming here for 40 years and has taken his kids here and now they all meet at a bench in his owner to celebrate the incredible memories that fort Stevens campground and trails has created for all of them. They now bring their families and all of them gather here every year at least once a year to thank him for this amazing area that brought them so much laughter and love"

"WOW what a beautiful State Park, Oregon has done an amazing job making my camping trip GREAT! Clean hot showers is #1 on my list. Dog friendly place and people. Wheelchair accessible for ease of car camping. Bike riding on paved trails that lead to the ocean, to the armory, historic district and many marine’s around. Groceries, wood and ice are near by, at Fred Meyers.Seaside and Astoria are fun day trips. This car camping trip was my best."

"Very big state park campground, very clean and well maintained. Really loved the paved trails around it for biking and hiking. The views of the Pacific Ocean are so beautiful especially the sunset, unforgettable. Had strong cellphone signal with T-Mobile. The only downside is that some sites are too close to each other. We had site #84, the 2 sites on each side have big group with RV and tents, one tent almost touched our RV. The campground has many loops, north loops are easier for big rigs, the outer line sites seems relatively spacious. This is one of the best state parks we have stayed in our more than 15 years traveling experience, the rangers are very friendly and supportive."

"Quite possibly my new favorite place to stay! Yurt 13. Wonderful location at the end of the yurt area. Surrounded by large trees to keep the hot afternoon sun off. Parking for this yurt is a short gravel path from the space. It is NOT right in front of it. Yurt was well kept and clean. Even had a nice little lamp installed over the table. Restrooms and shower facilities were kept in immaculate condition throughout my stay. For being a pet friendly area there are very few pet stations around and no trash cans that I ever could find. Guess you dispose of your pet waste at the front entrance to the campground with the trash compactor? Aside from the lack of trash cans, was an amazing stay and staff seemed very friendly ."
