"LITERAL NIGHTMARE. The owner isn’t even based here apparently, and has ZERO idea what goes on with his crew. Not only did the crew ask for twice as much time than they should have needed (2 weeks just to punt the interior of a well-kept house), they were overpriced and did a horrible job. No one was here to supervise the crew, and I saw little to no progress every morning when I showed up to let the crew in. I was home for almost the whole first day (due to a 3 pm check in time at our rental that we had to pay for for the week), and I was shocked how little they had gotten done on that first day by 2 pm. THEN, they didn’t even start painting the walls until the 5TH DAY of working. With supposedly a 5-man crew. When I called the project manager asking about what I was supposed to do, because I needed to move myself and my family back in the next day, he said they would take care of it and they basically painted the entire interior of my house in one day. When we came back on the 6th day: - The paint was already peeling in places, including giant holes of white showing through what was supposed to be my navy bedrooms walls - they got paint on my new carpet / vinyl plank flooring, AND ripped my new carpet in places - they left holes in the wall and just punted over them, and didn’t remove brackets that I specifically asked them to remove - they got paint everywhere that they shouldn’t have: my cabinets, doorknobs, front door, even my own stepstool - which means they used my own stuff - the worst: they somehow BROKE MY WASHING MACHINE (which was determined by a plumber first, then an appliance maintenance company). The owner then actually blamed the shoddiness of the job on ME, saying they had to rush because I wanted to be back in my house on the 6th day. After I had already told the owner and the project manager that I needed to be back by then, and they assured me that they would have almost everything - if not everything - totally done by them. These people came as a referral from MacAdam Flooring, which was why we chose them. But I would NEVER use them again, and I actually wish I could go back in time and have hired someone else entirely."
