"Formerly a good community bank. Offered a no fee 50+ account that was a big help for those of us who qualified. It was why I chose to bank with them. Then started gobbling up other banks. The last straw came when they "merged" with Whidbey and the attitude of this bank really changed. This is exactly a tale of the issue with the attitudes of capitalism today. Everyone wants to be the huge corporate entity for which all and any funds they can relieve you of all the better. This is not done to provide better service or employ more people with decent jobs either, it's done for both the immediate results stock holders demand now and to pilfer the company of as much of this profit as possible and place into the hands of the top brass and stockholders."
