"Meeting with Vern was a waste of time. My first appointment was over two hours, and the majority of it was just him making small talk and talking about his life story. He spent a huge chunk of time unnecessarily lecturing about what he learned in school (I was practically falling asleep while he was talking). It was difficult to adequately discuss my symptoms and concerns without him giving excessive and irrelevant responses. On top of this, when I tried to correct some of his observations (related to what he felt about my past experiences and symptoms), he tried to throw passive sleights about the job I worked to prove he knew more than me. Kind of like that annoying kid in school who would always try to one-up you. Anyhow, I wouldn't have had a problem with any of this if I wasn't billed $250 for that appointment that I got virtually nothing out of. Tried having a follow-up with him too, even more useless than the first one (he lost his notes so he didn't remember anything). Waste of both time and money."
