"I give 5 stars because for people contemplating moving here. The teachers are amazing, the administrators are really good. The district itself is ran somewhat poorly not paying teachers enough. But trust that your children are in good hands!"

"This was my first visit to the Longview School District office on the side of RA long High School. Karen greeted me as I entered the building because she's right there to help you with any questions or guidance of some sort. I had a question and just to make sure and double-check we had the correct information she put on her headset and made a phone call and we got the right information. I was very thankful and had a good experience for the first time visit to the Longview School District. Nothing in comparison to the Kelso School District!"

"I do not understand the bathroom pass rule the kids are only aloud 8 bathroom trips per quarter that is the dumbest thing and unhealthy thing if someone needs to use the bathroom they should get to"

"Continued.. I was told to send my daughter back to Olympic and resolve any issues I have with the staff and have my daughter work on her behavioral issues. Nah. Mind you when we met with the principal my daughter wouldn’t get out he car for minutes because she thought something was gonna happen to her. She was scared. And that’s when I knew even if all the bullies are gone from the school I still can not put her here. She is uncomfortable and scared for her safety. I tried to apply again for an in district transfer after speaking with Tony Vanderhoss and was denied again. I’ve spoken with legal offices about this situation. I’ve spoken with the superintendent in Olympia, WA about this. I feel my child was denied her education and her safety was not a concern or priority. A piece of me died with this situation. I took a lot of time off work and put a lot of effort into making sure my child is able to stick to a schedule and have an education. I was able to get her back in a different school in Seattle very quickly. I did it just to make sure I’m not crazy. But am currently home schooling her in Longview."
