"Does not even deserve a one star. Every provider we been through has always been late, not understanding at all in certain situations. No empathy. But if we're late we're canceled on and charge for it. Their over turn is down right the worst I've seen. No one cares there"

"Came seeking anxiety medication and ADHD medication after receiving help from another psychiatric service who couldn’t prescribe me the medication needed. Had to go to 3 hour long intake appointments here only for my psychiatrist to tell me they can keep prescribing my current antidepressant, give me prozac, or an SNRI with horrible side effects. For ADHD they recommended an off label sedative-type medication and an off label medication i’ve tried and did not like which was made clear to the intake staff. Told me they can’t do anything else. Waste of my time and money"

"I have had 2 psychologists, 1 for EMDR and one for talk therapy, and both were/are excellent at addressing my needs. In addition, I have a wonderful psychiatrist who listens to me and has always prescribed the best meds to line up with my issues. The front desk has always been available to schedule appointments and have been polite and professional."

"Avoid this place; Mind Matters has zero regard for customer/patient courtesy-- they only care about swindling patients for $150 over missed Zoom appointments. Mind Matters makes ZERO effort to call patients or parents directly when a child doesn't call in to a Zoom appointment time, and then they surprise you with a $150 missed appointment fee. I have never had a healthcare facility not call me directly to confirm the appointment, nor follow up on phone when I am running late. This place has never called me to remind about an appointment... They are AWFUL communicators. Appointment reminders were only being sent to step Mom, but not to Mom or Dad... step mom was out of town for a week and apparently we missed two zoom calls-- fined $300 for missed appointments! Is it even legal to not notify either legal guardian about their child's appointment and then charge them for missed appointments?!? I called and updated the notifications to ensure Mom and Dad, not just step-Mom, would receive appointment reminders... Whelp, guess what? Mom nor Dad received any of the notifications for the most recent appointment. Daughter joined the zoom call about 30 minutes late and the RN already checked out. So, once again no courtesy calls and these swindlers are charging us $150 for a $100 appointment. If a medical facility is using technology like Zoom to better facilitate appointments, they need to be even more on top of communications. Like, this is common sense--take a moment to call your patients directly if they don't sign on to the Zoom, especially when notifications are all over the place and never even sent to the actual parents, even after updating the info!"

"We started the intake process for my teen a month ago. It took multiple follow-ups on my part to keep the process moving, the intake coordinator never called me of her own accord.. We're finally through intake, and it's going to be another month before my teen can be seen. Initial appointments are only in the mornings and we have to spend an hour filling out a questionnaire. Apparently psychiatric care is not covered by our insurance until we meet our deductible, and the first 3 visits are over $800. My question is: what if my teen was suicidal and needed care quicker than 2 months? What if we weren't an upper-middle class family with an HSA and an extremely flexible work schedule? What if I were a single mother working two service jobs, and it wasn't possible to take off one morning a week for 3 weeks, and I didn't have time to spend an hour on a questionnaire? Is adolescent psychiatric care only for reasonably well adjusted kids with well-to-do parents? My kiddo really needs the help so I'm willing to meet with the doctor in the hopes that the practice bureaucracy is not indicative of the care from individual physicians. I will update this review as necessary."
