"It's been a while since I came back here. They have expanded to have a separate dining area and shopping area. The place has more tables to sit and enjoy your meal. It is counter service - order and then go find a place to sit. I ordered the reuben sandwich and a side of the gouda mac salad. The reuben sandwich was amazing, one of the best I've had. The quality of meat went well with the sauerkraut and bread. Every bite was enjoyed. The gouda mac salad is something new to me and definitely worth trying."
"Always wanted to stop, finally did. Cute lay out, order at the counter and pick your seat. Inside and outside seating. They call your number over a speaker so you don’t have to worry about not hearing it sitting towards the back. Love that they do half sandwich orders! Had the Ruben, and elk chili! Sandwich was delicious. Table also ordered the pulled pork, and the French dips. Will be back."
"It is very much about the food. You walk up to a counter to order and pick up your food. They were busy, but the man who took our order let us know it would be about 25 minutes. We walked down to the market and bought an elk pepperoni stick appetizer. Our food was excellent. My husband had the elk burger and said it was probably the best burger he had ever had. He could not finish it. I had the one half Cuban sandwich and the macaroni salad. The salad was different but tasty. We took the scenic drive out there and it was a fun Saturday lunch outing."
"Went this on a Saturday morning. Loved this place. The service was quick, the food was amazing. They have the butcher right next door and you can see that the meat they serve is fresh. I ordered a half cubano sandwich and it was amazingly delicious. I was in a state of trance while devouring the sandwich. It had the perfect amount of meat and flavors, and you could actually taste the punch provided by various meats. I would definitely go back again to try different sandwiches and soups!"
"The meat quality here is superb. The patty melt and reuben were delicious. The staff was very friendly. Only downside is I wish they served fries. I ended going to another restaurant for dinner and eating the meat here just ruined it for me at the next place. Will return for more food"
