Village at Cascade Park Apartments

"Lived here from 2020 to 2023. Started out at $1219 on a 12 month lease. Management currently does its best with the amount of people they have. Don't have any expectations for things to be fixed quickly though. We went over 3 months with just thin plastic covering our cut out front wall because the window seal went bad and ruined the wall. We never got the mold report we were promised back. Greystar stated they wanted to find another vendor. The next vendor came in and caused damage to personal property, which was resolved by our management. However, greystar is cheap and is a hassle to deal with. In 3 years, our rent went from $1219 to the current listed $2025 for our 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Our stove was an analog stove with no lettering left on it and no oven light. We also had a small fridge that never stayed closed. Furthermore, our master bedroom closet door was always broken and was never properly replaced, just balanced so when you went to open it, it fell onto the ground. On our 2nd week of living there the washer leaked water flooding the kitchen and ruining the carpet. This caused the carpet to rip up. Fixing this took 2 years! Do not move into this place if you can help it. While Gabby, the apartment manager, is amazing, Greystar is a terrible company that ruined our experience here. If they had put any more money and effort into caring for those living in their apartments, we may have enjoyed our time here. In addition, multiple other renters in these apartments who we have spoken to have had similar experiences. TL;DR = these apartments are overpriced, have many things that break, and take too long to get fixed. Avoid if possible."

"Worst rental company ever. Do not rent here under any circumstances. The move-out process was the worst I have ever experienced and deceitful. And there was a drive-by shooting that happened very close to my apartment, so if you don't like gun violence, just another reason to avoid this place. They lied about the move-out terms under the lease in order to attempt to charge me for unnecessary cleaning services for things that I had already cleaned and did not require cleaning. We had eventually negotiated the move-out costs down. I paid the move-out costs in full. Now over a year later I am getting the first ever communications about an outstanding $100 debt owed by a collections company. At no point did they ever communicate to me about this alleged debt prior to sending it to collections. Going back through my e-mails, I see that they had reduced my balance at the end by $100, and then I paid my remaining balance in full, and then they added the $100 back on without letting me know. This is the most unprofessional rental company imaginable. And what I've written is just scratching the surface. If you do research into Greystar you will find that they are notorious."

"Moved in a week ago and so far, so good! Everybody is super nice here and the complex is peaceful. Also, a great location close to every big store and restaurant you can think of."

"These apartments have their pros and cons. On the downside, we experienced repeated issues with plumbing, shower, and hot water. Furthermore, the outdated condition of the apartments does not justify the high rent. Garbage collection at the door is inconsistent, often resulting in leftovers attracting squirrels and birds. Additionally, we had packages stolen at some point, and the maintenance team did not seem equipped to handle the problems, requiring multiple visits to rectify their mistakes. On the positive side, the apartments are very quiet, equipped with a pool and gym, and offer ample parking. Personally, I wouldn't choose to rent here again, but everyone has their own preferences."

"I have had a lovely time at Village at Cascade Park its a lovely little community. It has reasonable spacing between units, well kept landscaping/grassy meadows throughout. The staff are very friendly, accommadating, and effective communicaters. The only downside is the maintence side can be a little slow; which I know will get better once they hire more crew members ."
