"creeeeeepyyyy, hard to get inside, so so dark and so dusty. Very creepy vibes but worth the stop to walk around the perimeter! There are two buildings be sure to check the smaller one accross the same parking lot as the larger sanitorium building! No tickets needed"

"The grounds are beautiful and clean. I loved being able to walk around the outside of the old hospital and admire the craftsmanship of the architecture. Such a gem. When visiting, please be respectful"

"A must see for those who love unique places to visit for some great photography. There are two buildings on the property, one is not fenced and you can get up close to it, but the main building has a fence around it. I've heard they'll be demoing it soon, so try to get here sooner rather than later. If you walk behind the main building, there's a cool tree back a path for additional photos. Don't forget to find the "Ohio window!" The property is now part of Stark Parks, with walking paths and a garden and a Park Ranger camped out keeping an eye on the property occasionally from vandalism, which sadly appears to have been occurring by the many broken windows, graffiti and sections of fence cut."

"Built 1929 closed 1995 fenced off but still worth it to walk the premises and wonder how things were 50 years ago.. architecture is appealing. There are ways to go in but its not worth it, too torn up and destroyed explore at own risk. A must see"

"I've lived in Stark County my entire life and never knew this place existed! Boy what an interesting place.. The architecture is beautiful and so enticing. Unfortunately you cannot go inside this amazing looking building, but there are plenty of people over the years that go inside anyway. I've heard you can be arrested if caught so watch out! There is a second abandoned building a little ways away that has no fence around it or really anything keeping people out. I would not recommend going in there as it seems very deteriorated. There are a good amount of windows to look through though! I really hope Stark Parks does something good with this building.. Something like the Mansfield Reformatory would be awesome! I hope it doesn't continue to rot and eventually collapse.. It's such an amazing piece of Stark County history. Who knows what the future holds"
