"My children go to Farm Camp here, and it is the best experience of their lives so far! Such a great farm and museum! The staff and the family that own it are very knowledgeable and super kind. I highly recommend it."

"Strange experience. There is a very large collection of antique machines, wagons, buildings, materials and equipment. They have transplanted several small buildings and built an antique town. Some of the buildings have interesting artifacts and relics that have some theme. Dr office, post office, etc. Definitely a neat theme for the property. It seems that, like a lot of small businesses, COVID has pretty much ground the homestead to a halt. Today it's more of a graveyard for old junk. There's tons of it. The homestead town is crumbling. It isn't safe to go inside some of them. Talking with the owners is an experience in itself. The man of the house, Jim, is an amazing man. He's accomplished many things. He'll tell you all about them. His wife, Laura, is a completely different story. She's the genuine article. The woman can carry the farm by herself. Everything that husband Jim talks about, wife Laura is living. I wouldn't recommend a visit, it's mostly just piles of junk and half finished projects. It's not safe for children, or adults really. Bad vibes."

"I rarely leave reviews, but felt I had to after briefly visiting here. First, I feel like this place had good intentions but it looks like the owner just let it go as it looks nothing like the pictures online. I love the fact that it’s preserving history, but it was unkept and dangerous for little ones. When we first got there, we went by the chickens to find dead chicken in the dirt. Bones and feathers just lying there. Then two dogs unleashed came running up to us fighting with each other. I had my 1.5 year old with me so big dogs running around with no owner in sight was a little scary. The animals in the barn look underfed. You can see the cows rib cages! All the buildings have spider webs and bee nests. There was a rotting pumpkin inside one where a rat ran from when we opened the door. All the gardens were overgrown. All the products you can purchase in the little store had spider webs all over them as if they haven’t been touched in a long time. As I said, I believe this place could have potential if it was properly maintained. I would definitely never bring young children here as it could be dangerous."

"Really unique experience led by knowledgeable and friendly owners. We took a graduate student group for a soap making experience and tour, which was quite an experience for all and especially so for the international students (homesteading was intriguing). I’d recommend to anyone. It’s definitely remarkable."
