"Sargent's Cementary was recommended as a place to see historic gravestones and get the feel of an historic grave yard. It was precisely that .....an antique cementary dotted with old, old grave markers in an isolated area of Wood county. The sight of head stones fallen to the ground after years of neglect. Monuments broken and fallen apart. An unweeded mound with flag and plaques in honor of those who serve., Just off the slippery elm trail is an experience as unique as they come. An overgrown Bush swallowing a sturdy headstone is the tale tell of a grave site long since forgotten."
