"Don’t expect to get any sleep between the train at 2-3am clanking, and highway 18. Lobby and hallways smelled like egg farts/propane. Beds were comfy. Coffee was good. Pretty sketchy area of town. Don’t keep valuables in your vehicle."

"I was having a medical procedure done at a hospital nearby Auburn, so my family stayed at this hotel while I was at the hospital. The service was so, so terrible. The hotel charged my card twice for one night of our stay, and the hotel Manager denied it and told us to take it up with our bank. We did, and the bank confirmed that two separate charges did go through each labeled for the same night of the stay. The bank told us how to dispute the charges, but if we wanted a refund for the extra charge more quickly it would have to be through the hotel because they are the ones that overcharged. We took that info back to the manager who was excruciatingly rude to my husband, talking over him to just repeat that there was nothing she could do about before he could even get a word in edgewise to explain the updates from the bank. When he finally asked her to please stop talking long enough to finish what he was saying she “fine,” crossed her arms and turned her head away so she wasn’t looking at him anymore. Like a petulant child might do. We stayed a total of three nights, and after the double charge for the first night we requested to put the remaining two nights on a credit card because we were uncomfortable keeping debit as out method of payment. After the managers multiple embarrassing display of unprofessionalism , she still charged our credit card for the remaining two nights. Definitely going to call corporate. I NEVER leave negative reviews, but this one really deserves it."

"Staff from front desk, housekeeping, breakfast attended, to manager were very friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. Place was clean, we can saw elevator being wiped and another common areas. Staff seemed to enjoy their job."

"We are here on New Years Eve and the staff here is extremely disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. We asked for a room away from the railroad tracks if possible and we were told to take whatever room they give us. Then we asked for a late check out and they said no, when asked why they said...because we can. Also just before us, they charged someone for being a minor an extra $200 for staying in the hotel and she is 20 years old....not a minor. I will absolutely be reporting this to the BBB and make this news if needed but I hope this can be resolved and their actions corrected. This is not okay and guests should never be treated this way."

"Decent hotel but took nearly a month to get my deposit back. 15 days after checking out they still hadn’t released the funds so I called and asked what’s going on. They said no one released the hold so they were going to get that handled. They then added an additional hold to my card. I noticed and they never called me to let me know. So I called them. “It was an accident”. A week later, the old hold is off, the new hold is still there so I made a complaint to IHG. The hotel staff then calls me to “explain the process”. I get the process, the problem is their incompetence. They tried to make it out to my bank being difficult and me not understanding the hold even though they admitted they didn’t release the original hold and added an additional hold 15 days after checking out. Took 24 days and an extra hold to get all the holds removed. When a company makes a mistake they should own it and apologize, not deflect to my bank or act as if I don’t understand the hold."
