"Sakura Ridge stole our heart--it was the nicest inn we have ever visited. Our room was fresh, modern, and appointed with super high-end linens. The view of Mount Hood from our patio was postcard worthy. The grounds were a picture-perfect setting with flower gardens, vegetable gardens, birds, butterflies, sheep, and even a family of California quail that would parade around the grounds in the late afternoon. Our host was gracious and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Chef Brennan served an amazing breakfast that I cannot even describe. It was more than breakfast--it was a breakfast experience! Thank you, Sakura Ridge, for an incredible and memorable stay."

"Amazing place, so relaxing. The rooms are modern yet comfortable. Our bathroom included a huge soaking tub with a view of Mt Hood. The common areas were comfortable with everything you needed to relax. Breakfast was delicious. The location was beautiful, with views of nearby farmland and mountains. It's a 15-min drive to downtown Hood River and there are lots of nice hikes 30-45 min away."

"Fabulous in every way...in over 30 years of staying at inns and various bed and breakfast establishment, this is one of the very best, if not the best experience. Deanna and John are wonderful hosts, the accommodations are superb, the breakfasts worthy of posting, and the views of Mount Hood are breathtaking...a group of 9 of us took out all 5 rooms and from start to finish we all had a blast. Definitely 5 star worthy."

"When booking a weekend at a place you've never been, its always an adventure....sometimes good ones, sometimes not so good. From the start, Sakura Ridge was a wonderful surprise. The set-up is well thought out, allowing for interaction with staff, or not. The rooms are comfortable and every effort is made to ensure you are experiencing an amazing time. It is immaculate, well decorated with an eclectic combination of artifacts throughout the place. The log cabin is absolutely gorgeous, the gardens very well kep. Large covered decks and ample log seating provide an expansive view of Mt Hood in inclement or warmer weather. We enjoyed lots of leisure time sunning ourselves on the decks with Felix the cat. The gardens are expansive and provide some of the wonderful cuisine we had while there. The provided breakfasts were a wonderful gourmet blend of berries, cherries and veggies from the garden, eggs from the coop, all while gazing at a panoramic view of Mt Hood. The breakfasts were exceptional, the food delightful and cooked to perfection. The presentation exquisite. The tiny touches of flowers, an array of delightful artistry and antiquity moved this site from way above average to absolutely exceptional. The staff was friendly, very well informed about the farm and area and went the extra mile to make sure our visit was unforgettable. When I started out with booking the room,I initially thought it was a bit expensive, but after the experience, it was worth every penny. If you are looking for a restful, weekend away, Sakura Ridge will delight you. Hope your visit is as restful and fun as ours was. B. Copeland"

"This was definitely the best b&b at which we stayed. The setting is fantastic - on a farm amongst cherry and pear trees, on a hillside overlooking Mt. Hood, far from roads and noise. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. The building itself is very well designed, built, and with a lot of character - a great treat for us at the end of our journey. The price is a bit on the higher end but it was well worth it. We'd go back in a heartbeat!"
