"It has been nearly 4 weeks since my hip was replaced. Dr. Moore did an excellent job on the surgery and that is not the issue. Pain management is killing me. I was not given any instructions on what options were available for pain management just call us if you have issues and that for the most part worked. I was also not taught how to use the walker and also how to use the walker, that may seem simple, however, I am a lot little bit taller and the walker was set on the lower runs, causing me to develop tendinitis in both knees and both elbows, as well as the feet, which has caused me be immobile, waiting for it to go away. I went to the urgent care clinic after two because severe pain and lack of mobility. After week three I met with the PA, and he gave me a stronger opioid prescription, but this has done nothing for the tendinitis until I cure the tendinitis. I will not get well. I’m going to a VA doctor on Tuesday to discuss this issue with him and hopefully get some Cortizone injections to allow me to become more mobile and be able to walk again without a walker. This has been the worst experience of my life."

"The provider I saw had horrible bedside manners she came off as cold, abrasive and uncaring. It was difficult to communicate my symptoms with her because of this. I also felt like she was rushing me out. The appt didn’t even last 10 mins."

I was pleasantly surprised that I can go back to work within a few days and use my hand for everyday typing and writing."
