"What a wonderful experience! Dan and the team at Tomfoolery did an outstanding job for me on my custom stereo cabinet. I came to them after a horrible online experience with another company out of Detroit. This previous company took my payment, then never delivered. They also wouldn’t return any messages, emails, etc. I got my money back from the creditcard company and went looking again. This is what allowed me to find Tomfoolery. What a great find! I called and talked to Dan and told him my previous experience with the other company. He was as horrified as I was. I looked at their “standard” catalog, and found one that would be a great start for my need. I also talked to him about some ideas of what I was looking for. He was upfront about what they would/could do for their shop. After understanding this, we were off to the designing board. I had to have a deeper than normal cabinet to fit an older stereo amplifier. I measured out what I needed and sent this back to Dan. He sent a model drawing to make sure everything was correct. We made a few tweaks (I added a cutout in the back for a cable groomer/access point so the cabinet would sit closer to the wall). The delivery was a few weeks longer than the estimated time, but he notified me of the new shipment date. The cabinet was delivered very secure and with a note on top. I was super happy when I opened it. The workmanship, finish, and matching of panels was outstanding. I’ve included a few pics so you can see. Incredible company to work with. I’m a manufacturing engineer for a very large defense contractor, so I’m really particular. They met all the checkboxes!"
