"Such a great place get wine. They really know their stuff, but they aren't stuffy. Happy to talk "best for the money," "all about the varietals, man," nerdy little distinctions between one river valley and the next. But just as glad to pull out a great, cheap red to go with the steak you're throwing on the grill, or opening up the white that just showed up from Walla Walla so you can taste it with them. Neighbors walk in with a dog and a tote and walk out with wine for the week. We show up once every few months and mix a couple of cases with their advice - some cheap, some fancy, all will be delicious when we get home. They ask good questions, give great answers."
