"Solid source for the basics. They try, but it isn't the same as a regular grocery store. Nothing sold by the pound, means limits in sourcing and choosing. That said, they do a decent job of providing the groceries they have, which is important on an island with no full grocery. Between them and the fruit stand (in season) it approximates full menu during the summer, but a dedicated grocer is sorely missed. Target has stepped up it's options a bit since Safeway left. Good & Gather brand continually impresses with better than expected results. Security appears to have improved from a dismal low point in 2022. Checkout is normally fast. Staff is fresh, but quality. More personable than you'd expect."

"Homeless people stealing everything there...lurking around Target does nothing and the homeless know this. We watched 3 steal thousands of dollars worth of items just while waiting in line! Target says their "hands are tied" they can't do anything about it. When we examined that Costco has 1 way out and receipts need to be checked the managers reply was "we aren't Costco" obviously. So the moral of the story is if you don't want to pay you don't have to. Target will let you have everything for free and won't prosecute because their hands are tied."
