"Dr. David Mussone has changed my whole life for the better with the work he's done on my teeth, I've been looking for years for a way to get all my cavities and root canals done. I have to be under general anesthesia because for anything more than a shallow cavity filling, novocaine wasn't enough to block out the pain for me. I couldn't find any dentists who did work under general anesthesia until l moved to the Portland area and found Sleep Dentistry. So I had a bunch of root canals and cavities and crowns that needed doing, before I found sleep dentistry I lost two teeth to being pulled by other dentists because they wouldn't do general anesthesia and those two teeth had gotten so bad while I was waiting years afraid to go into a dental office due to past pain l'd suffered in dental offices. As well as the last extraction I received from a dentist at a different clinic left a big sharp piece of tooth in my gums which caused me pain. But Dr. Mussone was able to get me scheduled to have everything taken care of under general anesthesia, he is amazing at what he does, I don't even remember feeling the IV go in and I didn't feel a thing while he worked tirelessly on my teeth. I woke up to find out that he'd been able to fix everything! needed done in my teeth, in that one appointment and all I had to do was rest and recover! I was so happy I couldn't believe it! Before he fixed my teeth I thought my life would be over at 26 because I didn't want to lose any more teeth, and was already so sad l'd lost two before I found Sleep Dentistry. He gave me my life back when he fixed all my teeth, and I didn't have to feel any pain while he did it, I got to sleep through the whole thing. When I went back later to get my temporary crowns from the procedure, replaced with permanent ones, the nitrous helped me stay calm and they gave me novocaine so I wouldn't have any chance of feeling any pain, at every other dentist those shots were terrifying and painful, but he managed to make it basically painless to get the shots in my mouth, before I was always so scared of being in the dentist office, but not here at Sleep Dentistry. I was able to feel safe and calm every time I've been in the chair at this office with Dr. Mussone, he's very kind and has great bedside manner, as well as he always takes the time to explain everything he's going to do before he does it and makes me feel comfortable and helps me understand everything about the process. I seriously can't even put it into words adequately how wonderful this has been for me. If you ever had a bad experience at a dentist and are scared to get help, go to Sleep Dentistry, they have so many options to help you feel comfortable and calm for any procedure. I feel happy and confident again now that my teeth are all fixed and healthy, I'm not afraid to open my mouth or smile anymore, l can eat all my favorite foods again, I can't eat in front of people in a restaurant without embarrassment now. Today I am in no pain at all, thanks to Dr. Mussone and the rest of the team at Sleep Dentistry. Everyone who works there is wonderful and have been so kind and accommodating to me, they've gone above and beyond to help me in more ways than I ever could've expected. I'm a changed person after this, I have my life back! I can't say thank you enough to the team at Sleep Dentistry! Love you guys!"
