"Absolutely the worst experience with a dentist. Ever. Got a filling there. During the procedure, Dr. Joy severely cracked my tooth. Tried to play it off by saying the loud bang and thud I heard and felt, twice, were normal. Between those moments and leaving her office that day, she said I’d most likely have to see a specialist for a root canal and have that space completely cleared - five times! She said it five times!!! It was so obvious she knew she messed up, yet tried to just sweep it under the rug. Now I’m in severe pain all of a sudden and midnight hunting for and emergency dentistry. Don’t go to her!!! She runs a churn and burn clinic right next to a drug rehab facility. I believe she is an incompetent care provider that should leave the profession immediately."

She and her staff create a pleasant atmosphere and the work is thorough. I have been coming to East Portland Dentistry for 3 years now and have had extensive work done.
