I can’t recommend or not recommend this business as the dentist I was seeing has retired. He truly was the best dentist. He will be missed."

"After years of chain style dental, we decided we were taking the leap and joining a private clinic. Best decision we ever made! This office is AWESOME I love that they utilize text/email/phone to send information and reminders, because with 5 kiddos I am one busy mama! My kids range from 2yrs old to 15yrs old, and they ALL do well there which is super impressive. Dr. Bynum is incredibly patient and it's not often you find a dental clinic that can see an age range that we have. Dr. Bynum and his staff were so kind when my 12-year-old was nervous about her fillings, patient and supportive when my rambunctious 3-year-old was not wanting to sit in the chair. He and was able to get my son to do the cleaning/check from my lap. The hygienists are wonderful, and great with littles as well. They explain everything and make kids feel right at home. I was honestly so used to quick care, that I was waiting for them to get annoyed when my toddler was obviously a little hesitant, and figured they would give up for another time, but instead they were patient and supportive and my son was able to get his check and be on his way. I love that I will get texts about possible openings for sooner appointments when possible too. I will never go back to chain dental after coming to Healthy Smiles, Dr. Bynum and his staff are proactive, and that's something I can appreciate after seeing how many offices tend to minimize things that can become bigger issues later."

"Overall a great place for my family over the last 6 years. Please understand that if you do not comply or have questions about anything concerning the course of treatment with the Almighty Scheduler of this establishment you will be dropped like your a second class citizen. Beware of the rude and unbending scheduling staff here. Or at least don't expect any value placed on your concerns or questions. I will happily exercise the only response about my concerns I was able to get from the Almighty "I can always find another provider." Scappoose is a wonderful small town but your not the only place to find dental services. Good luck with this business model and good riddance. Your peasantry"

"My crown fell off a week ago and right before holiday season. I called healthy smiles of scappoose and got an appointment in 2 days. I felt very welcome when they greet me mentioning my name when I entered the front door. It is very personalize and as if they knew me for very long. Dr. Bynum gave me 3 options and had given me time to think about it with no pressure. He also mentioned a temporary fix for me to use while waiting for my decision since holiday season is coming and my own wedding in 4 months. I came back today to take my teeth impression for the temporary retainer and expecting to get it in a week. I was surprised to get a call after 2 hours telling me that it is ready for pick up. Shelley and Dana (I think that’s her name, all I remember is it starts with D) are very friendly, helpful, very understanding and make you feel you are part of the family. I have severe anxiety going to the dentist but every visit in this clinic improves it and does not trigger at all."
