"I'm going to keep this as brief as possible. I frequented this restaurant for over 2 years and supported their small business. Recently, I started asking for less sauce because the to-go containers leaked in my vehicle when traveling both home and to work. I'd say this is a completely reasonable request. I asked for 1/2 sauce. The staff and owner there seemed to have a tremendous amount of difficulty understanding my request. I am not sure if part of this was simply language barriers, but we seemed to come to an understanding eventually. Then my food started being made with virtually no sauce, which made the food rather tasteless. So, I mentioned that it isn't that I want no sauce, I want 1/2 sauce. This is when difficulties really began. The owner seemed to be more agreeable than one of the gentleman that work there. The owner was not always there when I came in to order to-go. The gentleman would then work the register. One day I walked in and began to order and when I asked for 1/2 sauce, he stopped taking my order, said he cannot understand me, and walked away. The only reason I got my food was because I was able to communicate with one of the cooks. I was there for over an hour! The second time, the same gentleman told me the computer was down and he could not take my order (I have no idea if this is true), but I walked away with no food that day. The third time the same gentleman began walking to the register, saw it was me, then swiftly turned around and went back to the kitchen. I spoke with the owner and she did not seem to think his behavior was an issue. She told me to only order from her and said something about how the gentleman was taught to make food a certain way. That's fine, but I'm the paying customer and need my food to be made with 1/2 sauce, so it doesn't leak all over the place. Period. Needless to say, it was all very awkward on each occasion. This is not how business is conducted. I gave them 2 stars because their food is good and for an extended period of time I had no issues with the establishment or the staff. I will also add I was never angry nor rude through all of this. In fact, I gave them more chances than I would normally because I was a regular customer. I'm sad to say I will no longer be ordering from them. Best of luck."

"Imm Dee Thai is phenomenal! This is probably my top spot for food in the Portland/Vancouver area. All the food is so flavorful and delicious. My go-to dish is the #96 Crispy Duck Curry. It never disappoints. The duck is always cooked perfectly with a nice crunch to the skin, and the meat is super tender and moist. The pineapple fried rice is also amazing! The coconut prawns & egg rolls are also really good. The Mango Sticky Rice is a good dessert option. The staff is also super friendly. Dining in is the way to go! The atmosphere is wonderful."

"The place is bigger then I expected. There's a nice fire towards the back seating area. It adds a nice touch to the space. The service and food was good. I had spicy Pad Kee Mao. I only wish there were more peppers then onions."

"Thirteen Televisions! Someone call the eighties, they've left their Sports Gastro Pub behind! It's a strange phenomenon, this belief that all restaurants need televisions. Here it seems that the screens were obviously here when they took over the building and they thought it would be a good idea to keep them. In fact the whole place has the feel of the place that was here before. Very strong atmosphere of an old steak house, from the copper fireplace (which I liked) to the beer label tabletops, which do not conjure up visions of Thai food for me. Just as a side point, the televisions are outdated, They were probably big when they were bought, but the world has moved on. But now to the food. The salad rolls were fantastic! Fresh, large, with great peanut sauce. Almost a meal unto itself. The peanut sauce is the best I've had in awhile, not too sweet which is a problem a lot of Thai places have. The Special Beef Noodles was great, good noodle lift. I hate it when the noodles have solidified into a mass at the bottom of the bowl like a birds nest. I loved the condiment tray, as I recall a hot sauce, red pepper flakes, red oil (one of my favorites), and a surprise of spicy fish sauce, which I haven't been served in years. The funky fish sauce is such a mysterious element transforming in a kind of deepener, a whole new layer of umami flavor. I found the interior a little off-putting, but that's just me. I'm sure a lot of people feel right at home. It feels like the ghosts of burgers and steaks are still trying to manifest themselves. It's just hard to imagine the beer drinking, sports bar crowd hanging out for a game and slurping their noodles. However... The food is good, the service sincere and friendly. I hope they find their customer base and succeed beyond their wildest dreams."

"We randomly found this Thai place and went with no crazy expectations and an open mind. We ended up loving the food and the experience. Their soup was brilliant and was served hot. The soup really was a great start to our meal. The quantity was tremendous and 3 of us shared it. We had their avocado curry, masamoun curry and pineapple fried rice and they were all delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai food! Must visit."
