"Attempted to exchange a compact radiator I had purchased just two days ago with a bigger one, as it failed to adequately heat my bedroom. During this interaction, the store manager, identifiable by his red beard and cap, exhibited discourteous behavior in the presence of his junior colleague. He adamantly declined my request for an exchange, citing some purported warranty policy. When I purchased the item in store, I wasn’t told that the sale is final. I don’t collect receipt as I usually use my reward program information. Upon conducting online research, I discovered that Ace Hardware's website does indeed permit returns for the same item! This was not the initial instance of unsatisfactory treatment I have experienced from this specific employee or manager, who appears to aspire to a position of authority. Despite the fact that every item in this store is priced 20-30% higher than comparable offerings at Home Depot and Lowe's, I continued to patronize it in order to support a local business. I subsequently contacted Ace Hardware Customer Service and formally registered a complaint. I now await a response from the store manager in question and won’t use the store until then. Update): When I called Ace Hardware Customer Service a month ago, I was assured that you, as the store owner, would get in touch with me regarding this matter. However, I have yet to receive any communication from you. This lack of response is concerning and reflects poorly on the store's management and overall culture. I believe it's critical for the health and success of your business to address these issues promptly, as failure to do so could result in losing customers to larger, more responsive competitors."

Overall, Tweedie and Pop Hardware Store is a fantastic resource for anyone who enjoys tackling DIY projects or needs to make quick repairs around the house. I highly recommend checking them out! One thing to mention, there is a guy that works there with long dark hair that is unsocial. I asked him what his name is and he said he does not have one. He was serious. No name. Everyone else that works there is amiable and pleasant to interact with."

"Employees are unhelpful, went in to buy paint and asked if the base was “white”, employee said “no, it has no color”… I said what do you mean, it’s either light or dark base, light base is white. He said no, it’s not white until you add a color. As soon as he opened the lid to tint, guess what color it was? White. I said that’s white, he said no, that’s not white, it just doesn’t have a color… what?? Also they stopped selling propane but nothing is posted about it and the cases are still outside, so you pull up, go inside and find out “we aren’t selling it anymore.” Employee attitude is terrible, the stock sucks, the paint guys have no clue what they are doing. If I could give it a zero out of five stars I would."
