"The only complaint I have with this place is that they had the labeling wrong on their buffet item so I couldn’t eat much of that delicious curry. Just kidding. Great buffet with reasonable price. Would definitely keep going again and again."

"This was our first visit to Bombay Biriyani House. The location is in Hillsboro downtown and in front of "Hillsboro Central/SE 3rd TC" train station. We heard from one of our friends that Chettinad restaurant moved from Beaverton to here. And we found the same folks were working in this restaurant. We ordered Ghee roast paper dosa, which was our favorite in Chettinad. It was good and Chole Bhature was very tasty as well. They also have lunch buffet every weekend, which costs $17.99 usd per person. We will definitely go there again."

"I came to Bambay Biryani House a while ago, and the food was super great. I had the chicken Biryani ($16.99) and a horchata drink with it. Biryani is a mixed rice dish with some type of meat and spices. There is also a vegetarian option, which they take out the meat and put in veggies. The place is really nice and clean. The atmosphere is calming and a really nice environment to be in. A great place to eat with family and friends or by yourself. This place is located right in front of the Hillsborough Transit Center."

"I don't know why they named it Bombay Briyani House but it is more of south Indian restaurants - although the Briyani is more of Hyderabad style. There is nothing Bombay about this place. Having said that food is really good. Expect spicy food if you ask for spicy food. To be honest I don't think they ask you the spice level. They have a standard level and I am glad they do. I don't want to go to a restaurant which asks for a spicy level but at the end of the day gives you what they want. Tried many cuisines here but I will mention few items which were not up to the mark: - Salt Lassi was too salty - Mango Lassi was ultra sweet - felt like Srikhand - Chole Bature - Absolutely amazing Bature. However the chole had too much of cinnamon flavor. Their food will be even great if they tone down things a bit - the place really wants to be at extremes. But still delicious."

"I’ve been looking for authentic South Indian food here in Portland for so long and couldn’t find any until this restaurant opened! The food here was delicious and service is also great! My favorite was their mutton (goat) curry, pepper mutton, chicken chops, fish fry and their chicken biriyani was amazing! Will certainly go back!"
