"Born and raised in Tacoma! I remember getting off the school bus and going to get some gizzards with some hot sauce or jo Jo’s! With ranch and sit by the window facing the street. I need to come back and pay yall a visit"

"The morning employees are very nice to me, and but the night shift people are not soo much as nice. But overall they have most the things I need all in 1 stop and don't have to make 2 trips soi guess that's a good thing about Jim's Deli. And also 1 more thing they do close later then other corner stores which is very convenient. They close late too at 1 in the morning or if I'm wrong 12:3O i believe ."

"I was here 26 years ago regularly. Wish they still had the tables and benched, but given the area and covid overreactions, I completely understand it. Not much has changed. It hasn't needed to. The place works. Talk to the people behind the counter. You'll get good conversation back. They'll appreciate it too. Now that I live up this general direction, I'll stop in when I'm in the neighborhood for my drinks and snacks before I go anywhere else. Hope Rog is still around."

"Everything from Jo Jo’s to barbecue ribs .if you’re from Seattle then you know about the Shell station on Beacon Hill that has the best fried foods. Everything from fried catfish to gizzards to chicken wings ,and burritos. Shell station, you may have some competition. They have a pretty big selection of Mini market quick fried foods, which of course we know, are not good for us -but delicious.Usually I wouldn’t review a mini mart but since they have a large selection of fried food comparable to that that you find on Beacon Hill at the Shell station I had to make a review. This store sells everything from fitted caps to pop rocks .... fried chicken to hotlinks are kept in a large warming container with a huge selection of cooked food. Staff was nice. Didn’t feel like we were being watched the entire time. I recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or a stop after a night of drinking at the local bar"
