"I had an appointment today at BestBuy booked thru Apple to replace a cracked iPhone screen. Best Buy: “we can’t replace the screen because it cant display diagnostics before replacing the screen.” The screen is broken. Why would expect it to work to run diagnostics? Why even offer this service? As far as cracked screens go, this one wasn’t even that bad. Can’t their diagnostics device output diagnostics via USB? Can’t they use text to voice? All of those functions work fine. I never had this issue at an Apple Store with a cracked screen and was hoping to save a trip to Tacoma. Thanks for wasting my time, waiting a week for a same-day appointment just to be turned away. Never again!"

"He was able to diagnose on the phone and make me an appt. When I brought it in, because I had the right vocabulary from his diagnosis, the store staff gave me a store credit to get a new TV without much problem."

"Poor experience. The lcd display on a 2018 laptop went out, so I took it in to see what they could do. They refused to do anything, which they are in their right to do so, but also told me that using a hdmi to hdmi cord and a surplus monitor wouldn't work. Low and behold, here I am using my surplus monitor and a hdmi to hdmi cord, and it works like a charm. This is too simple of a mistake to pass up. Get good."

"If you crack the screen on your laptop and use the warranty you paid for to have it fixed, Geek squad will tell you it will be ready for pick-up in 2-3 weeks. You'll end up waiting 5-6 weeks with it being shipped to and from some place in Kentucky with no clear explanation or attempt on the Silverdale's Geek Squad to find out what's really going on with your laptop. Not to mention, the lack of concern or apologies from a single person. Apparently a number doesn't exist for this place in Kentucky for them to call."

"They did a great job fixing my computer - it's running better than ever! Now with this "contract" (which I can opt out of whenever I want to), my husbands computer is also covered. And they installed an antivirus on my computer and he can take his in and have it installed on it too, free of charge. In addition they set me up with my favorite browser - now I know it will work right!"
