"Driving by, pegged this place as an old, local standard. Bit worn on the inside. Excellent service, fast, efficient and professional. Portions are large, salad was fresh, chicken fried steak was tasty. Sausage gravy lacked black pepper and any sign of sausage. Was open when weather closed nearly anytime else. Solid, basic American food, breakfast all day and really exceptional service."

"This place is a gem!! Chicken fried steak is absolutely the largest i have ever seen, over twice as thick in comparison to other restaurants. Food here is homemade old fashioned style. Rare to have homemade style meals nowadays. The half rack of pork ribs was flavorful and tender, fall off the bone tender. Beef nachos had almost everything on it , missing only the sour cream. Meals came with soup or salad, veggies, buttered toast, and homemade mashed potatoes or fries."
