"This is a nice place to eat. A good selection of comfort foods with friendly staff in a homey environment. We were there on Taco Tuesday. A couple tacos added to the meal was a bonus! I was stuffed when I left."

"Have been to Cousins many times over the years and have tried quite a few dishes. It's a great stop when passing through the gorge in either direction. It's an old fashioned sit down place with country fare and homestyle decore. You are greeted arlt the door by the sounds of farm animals...very cute and makes us laugh every time. Staff is warm and welcoming and we usually never have to wait to be seated. The convenience of Cousins can't be overstated. Hungry travelers will be well dlfed and leave with full bellies. Burgers are good, biscuits and gravy pretty standard, and their omelets are decent. The cinnamon rolls are the real star of the show and need to be shared. They are massive! We will continue to make Cousins a stop when passing through The Dalles."

"Worth the stop! I actually found the food to be quite tasty. There were a few hiccups. And this place is not cheap. Perfectly priced for the portions. Some negatives include. Waitress is not very attentive. You will find your self looking for them. Biscuits lacked flavor. potatoes were overly seasoned. Very cold inside Not much parking on the weekend. Some positives were: Fresh taste when it came to cooked meat. Not huge portions but also not small. Fresh baked goods."

"Delicious!!! I had the 10 oz steak and eggs. Great flavor, and the hash browns that came with it were fully cooked and some of the top was nice and crunchy. The biscuit was big and really soft and tasty with the butter and jam. Good amount of eggs. The steak was medium as requested and was still tender and juicy. The only thing I did not get and I should have was the pastries. Coconut creme pie is my favorite. There are many classic things from the past to see. Pictures, tractors, trains and boxes from the products sold around area."
