"The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are very friendly. The menu presented many options for breakfast. I had the Ichabod's special for breakfast, which includes 2 eggs, bacon (peppered or regular) or sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits, or a combo of the two (which is nice) or pancakes, and gravy. I appreciate all of the options! The hashbrowns and peppered bacon were perfect, but the gravy was crazily poured over everything. I don't really care for it on my fried eggs as they were buried. I had to dig my bacon out, too. Which made it messy. Maybe serve the gravy on the side? Coffee was ok, so it's not the worst or the best. Visited a second time and ordered the gravy on the side. It was perfect this time!"
"Ichabod's deserves 10 Stars. I don't eat out often, but Ichabod's is high on my list as a Keeper! Plates FULL. Foot well cooked. Coffee kept hot. Smiles everywhere - Staff and Customers. Excellent Atmosphere! We were seated at what had been 2 Tables together to seat 8. The Server separated the 2 Tables and inserted a Free Standing Divider for a sense of privacy. I had the "Traditional" with 2 Outstanding Over Easy Eggs, Corned Beef Hash, Hash Browns w/Sausage Gravy added, and English Muffin. Half came Home with me for Lunch or Dinner. My Friend had a HUGE Omelet, Hash Browns, and English Muffin. Half of her Plate was left. (She doesn't do Leftovers.)"
"Food is outstanding. We had special requests and they delivered. Always a good buy and the Ruben has 3 layers…. Never seen that before. But still good. Locally owned and operated, love supporting family businesses."
"After a long day of driving we made it to our airbnb just down the street from here. Decided that we need to eat and this was one of the closest place with alcohol and not fast food. The taco salad was good. The dinner chicken strips came with a huge salad and lots of sides, way more food than we could eat."
