Subway

"Only one person working in the entire store at lunch time, noon! That is not enough employees. If an owner or mgr. Is only scheduling one employee to work a lunch hour during a normal weekday, then something is wrong with business. From what I see having 2 Subways within a block of each other is too many, #2 reason is faster service during lunch times, people would go get a subway sandwich if they could get it before their lunch time is over. That would require at least another employee or two during a 2-4 hour time, 11:30-3:30 etc. Or have them work a split shift am and then a dinner time til closing for 4 hours. That way they can get an 8 hour day."

"Popped in on my break for a cookie. The young woman was making sandwiches and never looked up at me. After a few minutes an older lady came out, also didn't acknowledge my presence, so I piped up saying i just wanted a cookie. The young lady, never looking at me says it will be awhile. I ended up leaving. Not sure why both employees are not making food and helping customers. If the young man that works there is on shift is the ONLY time I go back. If hes not there, I go elsewhere."

"i decided to get subway today and man i did not regret it. I walked in and there was no line, i was greeted by sam and noah the two amazing workers present. i didn’t know exactly what i wanted but sam was very patient and helpful with ideas. overall a 10/10 experience thank you so much to sam and noah!!"

"4th of July, walked in to our local Subway with a line of customers 6 deep. Michael, the sole employee, early 20’s I’m guessin, calmly, patiently, cheerfully making sandwich’s not just for walk up customers but doing online orders too. He’d opened the doors this morning, and had another employee shift beginning at 3 pm. All on his lonesome and handling his situation with such poise and professionalism that I cannot go without sharing my experience with everyone. I asked him where his manager was and he simply said, I’m the manager. His stand up customer skills were certainly recognized by all of us who were there. Perhaps corporate might want to take some notice as well. I’ll be back. Handled a less than desirable situation like a boss, which he is. Well done brother, you play above the rim."

"Simply put - the quality at the St Helens Subway has been increasingly bad over the last few years. As far as we can tell, they are constantly out of a LOT of options/ingredients (today, they had ONLY wheat bread, for example), and the service almost couldn't possibly be slower. The employees are nice, and I actually often feel awful for them; so many of the problems are clearly not their fault (though there were a few online orders that were super far behind, causing one waiting customer to start yelling and threatening to call the owner). Sure, things were extra busy today, but these are issues each and every single time we go anymore, and unfortunately, our visits have become much more infrequent. I genuinely hope things improve here again because we miss the quality and consistency that Subway used to have."
