"Food is only local bakery items but there is usually something for every diet. Great atmosphere with a gas dual-side fireplace and a picture window counter. It has its regulars and there's a good reason for that. Their coffee is excellent, first rate, top shelf - it's just darn good! It's a treat to come here. Family operation and very pleasant staff. Did I mention that the coffee is GREAT. Very consistent. I generally don't like sharing gems I find but people need to know how good this place is. Come in, have a cup of coffee and see for yourself!"
"Nice coffee shop with friendly staff. I liked the vibe. It was surprisingly crowded late morning on a weekday. My friend enjoyed her pour over, my drip was decent. My preference is a dark roast, but they only have light roast coffees here. So I am probably not a good judge of the coffee. First visit so we didn't know what to expect. The scone and oatmeal raisin cookies were good. There was a very tiny case with treats on the counter that didn't allow for much variety or selection. Overall, it was a good experience, just not my type of coffee."
"Essence has the most delicious hot coffee I have had! The atmosphere is so calming it makes it hard to leave. The service is great! I love that the walls are filled with beautiful photographs of local places, it makes you have the true PNW feel. Every time I have gone it has been a great experience. Highly recommend 10/10!"
"Tucked away, a couple of blocks from the city center, this coffee store is a gem. They roast and brew one of the best coffee I've tasted, which leaves you longing for more. I always make sure to stop by when I'm in Sequim."
"I came here at a recommendation from a good friend who used to live in the area. I was blown away by the quality of everything. There was an intentionality at this place you don't normally find. The fresh lavender and honey oat milk latte was phenomenal. Bought some of their freshly roasted coffee and plan on subscribing when I get home."
