"Tara helped us a few months ago with our wild labradoodle who was a very unruly walker and jumped on everyone coming through the door. We had two sessions and Tara was great! Very thorough and answered all our questions and really trained us on how to train him. "I was having a hard finding a dog trainer that worked with positive reinforcement. Just with two sessions she has made a difference. The guidance that she has given me has been working like a charm. She was a breath of fresh air after I had called around and many of the other services not only charged an exorbitant amount but whose training depended on them using the e-collar. While this is something that other people might choose, this was something would not work for my puppy. I find Tara's rates to be reasonable and would definitely recommend her to anyone."

"Tara at Tara's Positive Dog Training is an excellent trainer! We had a well trained dog, except that he barked incessantly when people would come into our house. We had 10 sessions total with Tara, and our dog is much quieter and we now know how to control and train him. Tara's approach is based entirely on positive reinforcement and I believe that is why it works. She definitely has a special connection to dogs probably from growing up with dog trainers. Tara is pleasant and reliable and provides a great service for a fair price. We enjoyed spending time with her and our dog, who is over the moon for her. Previously we sent our dog for three weeks of training with Rescue Gang Milwaukee, which used a shock collar. Although that approach taught some commands, it caused so much stress that our dog is always a bit skittish now. I will never again train a dog with a shock collar or any other punitive method. Use Tara's Positive Dog Training if you want a joyful, well behaved pooch."
