"Subject: Strong Warning Against Anthem Tax Services I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with Anthem Tax Services, urging others to steer clear of this company. My encounter with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. To begin with, they failed to deliver on their promises and essentially disappeared after pocketing my deposit. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, my calls were either unanswered or ignored for over a year. The lack of communication and follow-up is utterly unprofessional and frustrating. What's more, the handling of my tax case by Anthem Tax Services resulted in a staggering increase in my liability. Initially facing a $30,000 tax burden, their involvement somehow managed to inflate it to an astonishing $73,000, coupled with exorbitant interest charges. My initial point of contact, Michael Alexander, sold me false hope, only for my case to be transferred to Nadia later on. Our last conversation on March 2, 2022, included promises of investigating the case within 7 to 10 days and an assurance that someone from their office would reach out to me. Unfortunately, as of March 11, 2022, I am still left in the dark with no updates or communication. Despite forwarding all relevant correspondence between Victoria Stubbolo and Valorie Festa, Anthem Tax Services has shown a complete disregard for addressing the issues raised. It's disheartening to realize that I had to take matters into my own hands and contact the IRS directly to set up a payment plan. Anthem Tax Services appears to be more interested in stalling the clock for their own benefit rather than genuinely assisting their clients. Now, I find myself burdened with an extended payment plan of nine years, all while having received minimal support and communication from the company. In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering Anthem Tax Services to stay away. This company has proven to be ineffective, unresponsive, and, in my experience, has only made a challenging situation worse. Save yourself the trouble and seek assistance elsewhere."
