"Been with them since 2021 when units we're reasonable but then they jacked up the prices every year. My unit doors has been broken since then and no one has been out to fix it. I had lost my job back in September of 2023 and it was hard financially, talked to Aaron one of the many district managers about my situation and he dropped all my late fees and Lein fees and took my unit out of auction. He talked about giving me a job there and was super nice. Then I call in February to get my stuff out of auction and finally get up to date. I get the run around finally I get ahold of Shaun another district manager 3 days before my unit goes up to action. He's a jerk and proceeds to tell me there is nothing they can do to get my stuff out of auction. Itold them there's a vehicle with no title and they won't make the money they want from it. Then I get ahold of Aaron again and he acts like a jerk too. No recollection of what we talked about. He tells me the same thing then recommends I bid on my own stuff but then I would owe the whole balance still and would have to be out in 48 hours. Horrible costumer service. You’re better off renting from menards than these clowns. Customer service doesn't exist here."

"Rep was very good. I needed to provide insurance information had needed to call back . But he said he would call me back. And for once in this day and age , he did. And was very knowledgeable and took care of everything quickly..I e gave him 10 stars in my book."

"Based on our initial experience I will give KO storage 5 stars. The manager (Russ) took the time to meet us and show us the open storage areas. He was knowledgeable and friendly."

"Recently rented a 20x48 unit with the 14x14 electric door. I do “tractor things” for people, this unit is great to store my trailer and implements. Also conveniently located on Highway 12 just east of Altoona. Russell the local manager was very helpful and responsive when I moved in. Big fan, great location nice clean storage with a wide apron for maneuvering."

"We have been using this storage company for 5 years and have always liked this location and the type of storage it had to offer for us. Particularly liked the 3/4 covered storage and felt it was safe and easy to use. For the past 2 months we had been using our camper a lot and didn’t have it in storage but when we came back to store it we came upon (see pictures)this heap of a junk pile right next to or spot. Totally disgusting and inappropriate to have this in the storage area. It is a much nicer place than to allow this to develop. This didn’t just happen overnight and was probably like this for a couple of months. We called and never got a call back right away so we couldn’t leave our camper and had to turn around and go home. Even if we could have brought our camper back a month earlier I am sure this ugly disaster was next to us and we wouldn’t have been able to use our space. We did eventually get some correspondence, when we had to call multiple times, from the person answering the phone but nothing from anyone that could rectify our inability to use the space we rented. Again, clearly not something that happened overnight and was probably like this for a month or more. We’d like our money back for when this gross unit arrived, for sure the entire month we paid for and didn’t get to use it, and still waiting to hear from someone that can get this to be right for us. Again, 5 year loyal customer, sad to give us a hard time and give this heap of junk a pass. UPDATE-the response from the company is for me to call them. This is goofy. We did call them multiple times. When we called, they couldn’t do anything and the manager was always busy or in a meeting and couldn’t take the call. We left multiple messages with our phone number to call us back. We would like you to call us back. This review response, telling everyone that we should call seems to be a diversion from the issue. We just want our July rent back since you clearly new this pile of garbage was placed next to us and we couldn’t have used our unit in July. And if you wanted to have bad renters you should have relocated us and we probably would still be a customer of yours for many years in the future."
