The Plus

"Came here on a Saturday for dinner with my kids and a wrestling event in the converted dining room. I'll qualify the service by saying it was very busy. However, it took almost 10 minutes for the host to even notice us and request our table. Another 10 minutes for the server to get our drink order. 20 minutes to finally get notified that our appetizer order (East Coast fries) got missed - apparently there was an issue with the ticketing system. Finally after an hour, we were eating our dinner. The server was extremely pleasant, apologetic and provided a discount for our inconvenience. We ordered the artisan roll, a BBQ chicken pizza, and an order of boneless wings. The artisan roll is like a hot pocket/calzone but waaaay better. Soft and buttery with the right amount of cheese. It's by far the best thing we ate. The wings were super crispy and slathered in sauce. A little too much breading, but solid. The pizza was fine, not great. The crust was a perfectly char-speckled bottom with crispy edges. However, the toppings were bland and there was no cilantro in sight (the menu said cilantro was included and the pizza really needed it). The chicken on top was dry and the green pepper chonks looked like they were cut with a plastic spoon. The wrestling event was fun and rowdy, but borderline family friendly. The lighting was really bad, but I think that's more on the wrestling promoter. Overall, a good time and we would come back. Probably skip dinner and just do drinks and apps."

"Great bar, amazing pizza. Very nice friendly employees. We went on a cold night and the bar wasn't very warm, even when sitting on the kitchen end. Will be back for sure!"

"We went there last night and waited for a few minutes at the host stand before my husband went and asked the bartender if we are supposed to seat ourselves or wait. The bartender told he we wait to be seated. We waited another 2 minutes or so and then a group of people walked in. They waited about 2 minutes before leaving. We waited another 3-5 minutes with being in plain site, the bartender able to see that we were still waiting, wait staff able to see us...and absolutely no one came to talk to us, let alone see us. After at least 10 minutes of waiting, we left."

"Stopped in The Plus after a long day at work for a beer. The bartenders were super friendly and lifted my spirits! I had an awesome bloody and draft beer. Ordered a pizza to go - gouda, caramelized onions, and pepperoni. Delicious. I love this place!"
