"PTI is a subcontractor for companies that don’t want to do their own trucking out of fear of unionization so the distribution center you will be working at won’t have anyone who actually works for the company, every person from security, forklift, yard goat, maintenance, janitors, etc will be from a different subcontractor. For example Lazer Spot specializes in Yard Goat drivers that make minimum wage because they never leave private property they don’t need a CDL. While Paper Transport is the Local Drivers, and DHL might be the forklift drivers inside the facility, while Securitas might be running the gate. I was supposed to work at a distribution center in California but I had to fly to Wisconsin to go through orientation but mainly it’s because they needed tractors and trailers taken from Wisconsin to the new distribution center they were taking over from someone else. I couldn’t even park the PTI tractor trailer at this facility over the weekend because it had a broker load in it from Wisconsin that didn’t deliver until Monday at a place down the street. The security wouldn’t let me park there because it wasn’t a load for them. The recuiters say PTI doesn’t have access to any of the cameras facing the driver but then at orientation you watch a bunch of videos showing the drivers face unblured, and every time you hit a bump they can watch the video of you so I was ready to quit after seeing that but I was already stuck in Wisconsin. Luckily I checked the box not allowing my likeness in promotions or advertising because they are really getting your approval to show your face in their training videos whether you like it or not. Nice recruiting, nice dispatchers, nice support staff, very Nice equipment, $29 an hour, cool schedule 4on4off (try finding 4 days on and 4 days off in Trucking) but very creepy orientation, creepy HR, and creepy camera practices. I couldn’t get over the camera facing me and knowing I might be part of their orientation videos forever."

"FYI - this company will fire you with no warning of any prior performance issues, nothing said in any reviews with your manager. They do not care about you. I worked for them a few years back. I had just gotten back from a few days off after working a 60 hour week covering for a coworkers vacation. It was actually the day I was supposed to receive my yearly performance raise. Every review prior to this I was told I was doing a good job, never had any issues raised to me that there was anything wrong. On that day I was pulled into HR's office and told I was being let go with no notice. Thankfully I now work for a company that backs up their words on how they treat their employees. Just a warning for anyone potentially thinking of working here."

"Your driver in truck 2019 with trailer 8754 needs more safety training, he tried to force his way into my lane of travel twice, I’ve been driving for over 8.5 years, and in that time I have never seen a more reckless driver, I was blowing my air horn as he forced me to hit my breaks so he could get over, this is 100% unsafe, and illegal. It’s drivers like the ones at your company that give the rest of us a bad reputation, you should be ashamed, I know I would be"

"This is not a quality company to use. Experienced their driver being extremely reckless and cutting individuals off in traffic through the Cincinnati area this late afternoon. Obviously, this transportation company does not train their drivers nor monitor their work. Before doing business with this company, please know you will be doing business with a brand that does not care about the safety of individuals on our highways."
