"I hired Horizon to install 25 dual pane glass units that were provided by a Milgard Warranty in October-2021. They charged me $2,000 to install the glass which I thought was reasonable. They installed 24 of the glass and sid they would return to finish the last window due to not having the glass on the day of install. I paid the entire $2,000 trusting they would return and install the last piece of glass. They never returned and finished the job. I should have know better than to give them the entire amount but the installer seemed to be an honest person and would do what they promised."

"While I initially was going for a nice stylish door certain features I like, I ended up going with this company exclusively based on the fact that it was supposed to happen in a shorter time-frame (of course it tourned out to take longer in the end). When they installed the door I did not like the quality , it does feel cheap and not sturdy . I then noticed that the glass was full of big scratches ( door was cleaned with a blade) which I personally have a hard time to believe nobody noticed before walking away. When the man installed the frame he basically had to go twice to home depot as he cut the pices the wrong size. When the frame was finally up my husband comes to me very surprised wondering if I did the painting as he knows how detailed oriented I am . I say " no way why ?" And they I looked at it I couldn't believe, it looked like my kid did the caulking and painting, except that no , it was an adult whose job is to install doors and not cheap ones , my estimate for this very poor craftsmanship was a few thousands believe or not. Still waiting for the glass replacement but at this point it feels like the more they do and touch things the worse it gets. When I pointed at the mess of paint and caulk drips in front of the door with a joke like will the rain wash it away the answer was not a person cleaning it up but instead it was "yes, the rain will eventually wash it away"."

"I had Horizon come out for an estimate and eventual installation of a new sliding door in our living room. When I called, I was told it would be two weeks before someone could come to assess for an estimate. The estimate process was fairly standard, Scott came out, provided documentation on the types of products they use and helped get installation scheduled after we decided to pull the trigger. Another team came for a final measurement a few weeks later. Things went downhill from there. We initially had a 4/24 installation date booked and on the morning of, AFTER the provided installation window had already started, I received a call that they would need to reschedule. Not only did they call after the beginning of the installation window, they only had availability a week and a half later to come out. I understand last minute issues can happen, but this was really unprofessional and it didn't really feel like anyone cared. Installation day finally did come and Forest called 30 minutes ahead of arrival as promised and showed up as planned. The installation took about six hours and on the surface things looked okay after the job was done but then after taking a closer look after the team left, there were a lot of problems with this installation. We ordered a non-standard door handle (an additional $200), which was not installed on the door and they did not bring it with them. The team also left a two inch gap in the floor between the floor boards and the door frame and didn't mention it before, during or after install. Lastly, I guess the team started and forgot to close the gap between the bottom of door frame and the foundation as it was half cemented but not finished, so there was a one inch open gap into my home left there. After looking even closer at the install, there were gaps and holes in the calking around the frame, so there was no way this was weatherproofed correctly. Lastly, the door and frame were not cleaned after install. There was sticker residue, dirt and chunks of wood in the door track and on the window and frame. A really sloppy and unacceptable job. I called the office to have someone come back out to address these issues and was told I would get a call back after the weekend (this was a Thursday). Again, no urgency to correct these issues. A positive to note is that when Tony was sent out to fix the noted issues, he did a great job and was very pleasant to work with (this was the second time Tony came out and did a great job). Tony fixed all the noted issues and left the site in a clean and completed state. Thank you Tony for taking care of everything! I cannot in good faith recommend this company after assessing the project from start to finish."
