"I simply wanted to support black business. Unfortunately, this black business doesn’t support US. I signed up for the tax preparer class last year & after the first couple classes I had to miss class for an emergency at my storefront business in Monrovia. It’s tough being an entrepreneur sometimes. I figured he’d understand that. He didn’t. This business is self motivated & oriented. I’ve been calling every few months between my busy life schedule begging nicely for some satisfactory customer service. I spoke to Rocsii who he used from Instagram to get more people & advertise; she must’ve said something bias to Dan because the blatant disregard comes from them both. I spoke to Dan about it after Rocsii relayed my message about not being able to complete the class & requesting a refund. He called & said I can do the online version & I let him know I don’t do well with online classes. I reiterated that I would prefer a refund & I’ll rejoin another class in person. He said he wasn’t sure how refunds would work yet & he would have to get back to me. Woah, wait! So, you started taking people’s money $225 a pop that wanted to learn something new & support Rocsii & Dan. But no plans in place for incidentals?? Only plans to gain & take money. After that you’re on your own. I even offered to work or come in & make up my little 3 hours. I was denied of that idea. I spoke to Christina, George (nice guy), Pricilla, Rocsii & Dan & NOT ONE PERSON HAS CALLED ME BACK IN A YEAR NOW. Dan has apparently, completely brushed me off. Pricilla was kind & understanding our first conversation & very defensive & dismissive the second conversation. I feel like there’s a bias & they’re ignoring me. I have no idea why. I haven’t been rude, just asking & asking & asking & asking. Getting frustrated. It’s not even about the $200 now it’s the PRINCIPAL!! CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ETHICS!! Where’s the humanity? You have someone’s money & they have nothing & you never even said thank you. Smh. Where’s the appreciation for attempting to support your black business?? Wowowow!! Blatant disregard. I guess I’ll have to sue in very small claims court for $200 smh. Ha! Okay Dan. Dan the man. Lmao. Keep jipping people & manifest that Karma return. The man above is watching you. I see another negative review here for money troubles & lost promises. Sad. I guess you don’t think I’ll hit up the BBB & exert the energy into small claims court but I definitely will. I’m the daughter of a lawyer."

"Alright listen, my boyfriend did his taxes here and it was god awful. He had to go back there multiple times due to the woman’s mistakes. And when she finally fixed it, she apologized but her only job is to do this right and for the price it’s ridiculous that she couldn’t manage it. Seriously I do not recommend this place at all. Try turbo tax, H&R block, a 4 year old child, literally anywhere BUT here okay. Don’t waste your hard earned money on a place full of people who know just as much about taxes as the average 12 year old."
