"I try contacting this place that was recommended to me by an architect from the city. I wanted to be assisted with my new start up business which is an LLC. I wanted to elect S corp status when filling taxes . LLC can select to be treated as an S Corp when filling Taxes.(Form 8833 Form 2553). Apparently they think this doesn't exist or do not know enough to run a proper Tax business. The lady was very rude and told me and I quote "you know more than me good luck" and proceeded to hang up on me. I was in shock of how unprofessional that was. I called back an another assistant was speech less to hear what his coworker had done. As a Business owner my self I partner with the Better Business Bureau and I know how costumers must be treated. I will be reporting to the BBB for misinformation as well. I wanted to Talk to owner Rod Aolliver but I got the attitude of the daughter. Good luck ! Nick S."

"Rod made a mistake on my 2019 taxes by not checking "head of household." Months later I received a bill from IRS saying I owe $1300, so I took letter to Tollivers office and asked about it, they said the mistake was made by a glitch in their new tax program, but sounds like human error to me. A year later, still receiving a letter from IRS. Called them back, and asked if it has been taken care of, and they said if I don't get confirmation from IRS by February or March, to call them back. He also suggested I call IRS to check on it. I was charged $245, and this was with $80 discount, which is substantially higher than my previous tax acct of 15 years charged, who retired due to health reasons. I asked about a discount for my trouble for this year, and he said he'd ask Tolliver. Haven't heard back yet. 1/30/20 Never heard back from Tollivers. I went to SummerHill Tax Services $190 Michael was very professional and pleasant, and even gave me the rate of $180 that I used to pay with my previous tax accountant. Tollivers has decent reviews, but I did not have a good experience with them and would not go back. I'm sticking with SummerHill. 2/20/20 The IRS intercepted my state return and took the $1300 out from the mistake Rod Tolliver made last year, now I have to figure out how to get my money back. How can this happen when a company does one thing only, file taxes. You would think if this is all they do, a mistake, still uncorrected a year later, should not happen."
