"I hired Richard to remodel my bathroom. We set a date and time to start the project. Things started out fine, he showed up did the demo and eventually ran new plumbing and installed the bathtub. I paid him 30% of the agreed price and he was supposed to return the next day to start on the floor and walls. I received a text that he couldn't make it. Ok, we rescheduled for another day. Then another text, he had another job come up and he couldn't make it. Ok, rescheduled for another day. Another text, his tile guy had a family emergency and would be gone a couple weeks. This continued for over a month with texts that he couldn't make it. Meanwhile, I had paid him 30% and now I have a bathroom I can't use. Excuse after excuse from Richard. I eventually realized, I had been taken and had to fire him and go find someone else. I hired a new contractor who did the tile on the floor and walls, installed the new vanity and toilet. All done and looking good. We used the bathtub that Richard did the plumbing on and installed, water leaked from the tub into the laundry room down stairs. The plumbing was poorly done and separated the second water started draining. Do not use this company. He has been suspended on home advisor as well for similar complaints."
