"I saw Dr Lai at this medical clinic. I developed shingles and received treatment from her for this condition. She was awful. She kept saying to me that I had herpes when discussing my condition. She never called it shingles. She was very uncaring and seem to be prejudice towards me. Why was I not offered the shingles vaccine before I developed shingles? She knew I was over 50 years old and at risk of getting shingles. All of the TV commercials regarding shingles convey that. She had a terrible bed side manner and need to be more aware of how she discuss medical conditions with her patients. No doctor that I am aware of will call shingles herpes. I have nothing against Asians but I believe she needs more sensitivity and diversity training. Now with all of this Asian hate going on because of COVID, she now knows what it is like to feel discriminated against. I have had other Asian doctors and was never treated the way she treated me. SHAME ON YOU!!!! The state of California need to be more selective in choosing physicians to help patients. We have feelings too."

"Do not go to these set of hospitals. For a new patient, they will order a million tests and make you pay for all the tests (they won’t even put it under preventative for the insurance to pay). Example: I have a bill for lipid panel test which is preventative for every general checkup one gets done in a year. My husband and I moved to California and we both chose different PCP(his PCP is not from this hospital). He got all his tests done as a general yearly checkup and did not pay a penny but for me I have a 800 dollars bill for a general checkup. Billing representatives don’t help and they send back to the Doctor. And the Doctor doesn’t even respond, the nurse asks to talk to the Billing team. This has been going on for over 2 months. My insurance is ready to pay if they just submit the preventative tests as preventative. I am scared to even go to a Doctor for a yearly checkup now. Worst experience ever for a routine new patient general checkup."
"I requested 3 months supply of eye drops for my dad for high eye pressure. He have 6 refills left . All other medications and other drops they issued but for Latanoprost and Timolol Manalina by error requested two months supply only . When I asked her can she fix it she said insurance is not going to authorize because we can ask to override only once . I told her it was not my mistake clearly I asked for 3 months she said all she could do it’s I could pay over $100 for drops . We were traveling next day and I told her can she call who ever she called for 2 months supply only . She didn’t want to, Jen Lu came very argumentative not even allowing me to explain that I requested 3 months supply which she could see by all other medicine which I received for diabetes and nothing was a problem she just continued to argue how theirs nothing they could do other to cancel all order and that I need to give her back drops she gave me and maybe they will authorized for 3 months . Like I said we were traveling and time was crucial and all I got from this two representatives very unpleasant unprofessional service blaming patient for their error !!!"
"I had the most pleasant of experiences here... I took my booster or should I say "Third Shot" Had no issues since the time I entered. Made an appointment on-line, showed up, parked and went in. Only got easier from here. The gent at the entrance asked me if I had an appointment, checked my temperature and directed me to the third floor. From my experience I'd say the staff are seasoned battle hardened COVID-19 veterans. The entire visit was seamless; they got the process down! In and out without a fuss, in no time at all. The nurse took my vax card, checked the information, informed me about the process; what vaccine I was getting and even showed me the dose before administering it. All the staff were polite and thorough. Just an easy and smooth transition. Cheers!"
