"My mom directed me to this flower shop, to pick up some flowers on her behalf for a funeral that will be taking place in the early morning hours the next day. This shop is located in a small plaza, next to a donut shop and a barber shop. I arrived at the shop, just an hour and a half from when they opened. Not a whole lot of selections for arrangements. I did noticed that they had a lot of mixed bouquets for certain price points. ($4.99, $6.99 and $8.99). There was only 1 arrangement that was fitting for a funeral. When I asked the lady who I asked for assistance (her name was Evelyn), what the price was, she went behind the counter and onto her calculator to give me the price, which she said was $43.69 (includes the tax). I asked her if there's anything that she has that she can swap out the red flowers for - something more muted in color with the white flowers. She said no, she doesn't have anything. I then asked her if they deliver. She said no. I took a picture of the arrangement to text to my mom, then called her. I asked my mom what she thought of the arrangement, she mentioned that it looks nice and looks to be about within the $45 budget she had in mind (this is the 3rd funeral she's had to attend in the last 4 weeks, so buying flowers is nothing new). I replied, in an asking manner "$45?" My mother told me to just pick up the flowers, as I have another timed errand to do for her. While still on the phone with my mom, I motioned/gestured to Evelyn that I will take the arrangement. Evelyn replied that the total will be $45. I should have questioned this at that moment, but I was short on time. I paid for the arrangement and informed Evelyn that I will stop by before they close at 5 p.m. to pick it up. I knocked off 1 star for the non-existent, questionable delivery service. It looks (& sounds like fr other reviews) that they are able to deliver, but I was simply given a "No" answer. No explanation or anything. I knocked off another star for what looks like a deceptive practice on pricing. I understand that times are hard nowadays, but deceiving customers just to get another buck or two out of them shouldn't be the way to grow your business. If anything, this will only gain them "loss of potential long-term customers". I am all for supporting small local businesses, but if they are not customer friendly and are not honest about their transactions, then I will take my business elsewhere. It's a shame because I wanted to like this little shop."

"Horrible experience here at Evelyn's flower shop in Chino California. soon as I walked in I was told to not taking no orders because they're late on their shipments and late getting flowers etc and I couldn't even look around to make a purchase. I was told to come back tomorrow when they are more organized and they have their store cleaned up! I would say run your business more professional and be ahead of the game and you might keep a few potential customers happier!! Good luck flower hunting out there Happy Valentine's day you guys!!"
