Camp Bow Wow

"Wish it was possible to give this place less than 1 star. My dog had stayed here previously for 1 week during my family’s vacation and he was very happy. So while we are having construction done at our house, we had no hesitation to send him back since he would only be staying 2 nights. On the second morning, we got a call saying he was being “difficult” and “aggressive” and we had to pick him up. Our dog has never shown any sign of aggression regardless of the situation, and normally just resorts to plopping on the ground or hiding under furniture. When we picked him up, he was anxious, whiney, and obviously VERY shaken. He’s refusing meals at home and avoiding cuddles and has a large red mark under his leg. We aren’t sure as to what EXACTLY happened but we know this is not normal for our fur baby. He’s traumatized and we will NEVER be going back to this boarding place. It’s easy to blame the animal but paying attention to his behavior has made it clear that he is NOT at fault. Advocate for your animals and keep them safe and do NOT send them here for any reason."

"After 2 interviews my golden retriever failed because she seemed nervous around other dogs. They interviewed MAYBE 30 minutes each time. She was not aggressive at all. They only want easy dogs to handle. I told them I needed to board her because I needed to attend a funeral. I do NOT recommend if your dog is used to being alone."

"Frankie and I love Camp Bow. Wow. I don't like leaving my dog but when I have to it's the perfect place for him. I'm told he likes for them to hold him like a baby when he is there. Who wouldn't love it?"

"They are so personable and caring. Also, wanted to comment on the lady’s review about easy going dogs and such. They don't want dogs that will present a danger or harm to their staff and the other dogs. I think its a great place. If you have a dog that needs training and extra attention to might want to see a dog trainer not a daycare and boarding facility."

"Our pup loves to go to Camp Bow Wow! She is always having a blast at camp and tired when she gets home. We have boarded twice now, for a total of 5 nights, and being a nervous pet parent, the staff always was a phone call away for me to check-in! The staff here is always attentive and makes sure our pup gets the best care. Their camera system is also great, so you can check in when ever you want to see what your pup is up to when they are in the play yard! Also, their enrichments are a great deal as our Malinois Shepherd needs the extra play time! Highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!"
