Motel 6 Tracy, CA

"People always tend to give places like this bad reviews because they're basing it on their stays at three and four Star hotels. As far as affordable basic motels go, this Motel 6 is pretty much like all the rest of them, consistent with the standard that comes with the name Motel 6, maybe even a little better as far as customer service goes. I stayed at so many Motel 6s all over the country and I would say this one is of four out of five star in the grand Motel 6 scheme. The front desk staff were very pleasant helpful and accommodating. They didn't look at me with judgmental eyes or charged me some ridiculous deposit that doesn't exist. In fact they gave me a decent room for the night, I paid in cash and that was that. I can say from experience that it doesn't always go that way. But it's only 3:00 and who knows what happens at night around here. But from the looks of it probably a whole lot of nothing but the usual."

"First room: 102 Ground floor, stained bedspread with holes. Red stain on floor with footprints in it. Nail polish on the sink. Hair on the shower walls. Rust stains from the faucet to the drain in tub. Second room: 253? knob to safety latch broken off, but better room than the first. Service: speaking to eachother in another language in front of patron about patron's situation. Loitering around rooms and even entering adjoining empty rooms. Safety: leering men walking around at all hours. Police activity in the parking lot twice in one night. Price: 93 dollars after tax. Decision: NOT WORTH IT."

"This place was use to be awesome. But the new punjabi guy is disgusting at the customer service. He took 2 hour to review our reservation. Room has no refrigerator, no microwave, no closet, even i paid extra. And he was keep on knocking the door in the morning. I will request the motel supervisor to choose your employees wisely."

"I read reviews here and some people were complaining about roaches. But, it's not the motel's fault. I am pretty sure if people see roaches in their home they are not going to leave their home they will just kill the roaches or get pest control to come out and spray. Give the motel a break. They are going their best to control the roach issue. Some people are just too much. From my experience, the motel is quite with friendly staff. They have remodel the rooms and its better than it was a couple of years ago. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to stay here. I would come again to stay. Thanks for always making me feel welcome."

"On September 26th I walked into the room to find several cockroaches running around the room main floor and in the bathroom. Pulled back the bedding and they were also in the bed. Went to office and was given a different room. Still had roaches, but not as many. If I was not stranded at 1am after a car accident I would have driven off to find somewhere else to stay. Unfortunately the next closest motel I could walk to was booked full. Also, the vending machines were empty and had to walk to a convenience store for bottled water. Avoid the Tracy Motel 6."
