"Dr Herbeck and team are the best. We've been going there for the last 7 years."

"I put up with this veterinarian for many years. Despite her being extremely rude, she's not the warm, fuzzy type. I hoped that she liked animals more than she liked people. Unfortunately, I don't think this is true because my poor dog has been sick and suffering and she refuses to send over the paperwork to the new vet. I decided to go to a new vet because I took my dog there. She has severe anxiety and we had to wait in the car for over an hour. I was not allowed to go into the building with her. The doctor said she was going to give her some IVs. I called back three hours later and the receptionist said they had gotten busy and she has still not gotten her IV. So my severely anxious dog is alone in a cage sick vomiting without any fluids. I called back and they tried to tell me that she had an IV but they needed to give her more fluids. And they assured me she was doing better. They told me to come and pick her up at 5:30. I arrived at 5:30 at 6:30 I got out of the car because I could feel my dogs anxiety. There was an elderly man standing outside of the clinic with me. Dr. D proceeded to come outside and yell at us for not being in our cars. The only reason she has patience is because she's considerably cheaper than a lot of veterinarians. I suppose she feels this gives her the right to treat people very poorly. I took my dog to a new vet a couple days later the experience was literally night and day. I got to go into the office with my dog. He told me the medication that downhill gave her was for diarrhea and that could be why she was still vomiting the medication up. My dog was so calm leaving the office. Usually when she leaves Dr. D's office she is a nervous wreck. Apparently Fallbrook veterinarian clinic is the only Clinic that refuses to send over paperwork. This clinic doesn't even have an email? How can you have a business in 2023 and not have an email? Apparently she plans to keep people out of her office permanently, taking advantage of the Covid rules. If this woman cannot be trusted to send over paperwork to another vet, when asked, how can she be trusted with your precious dog? I'm trying to find out if she tested my dog for pancreatitis. I have yet to get a response and it's been nearly 2 hours. The first request for paperwork was from my new vet and that was three days ago!!!!!"

"Dr. Downhill, we have 2 dogs and a cat in for services in her clinic for 20 years. And because of her expertise we stayed. But she has no bedside manner and can be rude. She shut the door on me 2 weeks ago on our last day there as we moved out of the valley. So just know she can be a moody person."

"We are so grateful to have finally found our vet in the area! They are really caring and were able to offer us so much useful information about how to care for our new adult adoptee. And their prices are totally reasonable. We had so many negative experiences before with vets barely doing anything and charging us an office visit. This place is in business for the right reasons."

""You've created a monster". These were the words the Dr. used. First our kitten is barely 3 months old. Second you don't allow pet owners to come in. Third you're wearing a mask, hat and you are a different race than us. Our kitten was scared and so yes he's going to swat and back away. He has never hissed at us, our son or guests that have come over. How about you allow one owner come in and help handle the kitten - I wouldn't let my son go into the Dr's office by himself expecting a nurse to handle him. $70 down the drain as we now have to administer de-worm solution. We will be finding a new vet that will have not only bed-side manner but empathy that a 3 month olds kitten might me scared with a stranger trying to handle him. RIDICULOUS!"
