"Was booked an x/ray appointment with an orthopedic in Sacramento for this location. Was charged for an appointment when walk- in -X-RAYS are first come first serve. Was incorrectly booked a Dr appointment I did not need, their supervisor Joe/Joseph has yet to return my call after several attempts. Poor service. Trying to get refunded for a co-pay even the Doctor I saw said I was booked for an appointment that wasn’t necessary."

"They were able to get me in quickly when my primary care physician was fully booked. I came in to get a much needed prescription and labs done. They are friendly, competent and very nice to work with. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended."

"I've seen some negative reporting on this site regarding UC Davis in Rocklin. I cannot disagree nor discount their experience but usually you're not in the best of moods when you're at a doctor's office. Maybe it's the white robe or jacket syndrome. However I've been to this facility many times for myself since my doctor left my local area an hour away and he is now here. I take my mother usually three times maybe four times a quarter and I found them to be nothing but extremely polite and helpful. Maybe it's because my mom is of that age where a little bit more attentiveness is appropriate. This facility is probably one of the most easily accessible in the UC Davis system. We tried Davis the city in Sacramento. We find it easier to get to this location and we always get the best service that we can ask for from a physician or a group of physicians. My family room complained about another issue and this office got us in the next day. When does that happen? I fully believe UC Davis is the best when it comes to care in our area. Sutter North is a good facility but I would say it's at least a distant second compared to this particular facility which there's not that many people there when you go in for your appointment. Oftentimes you see your physician before your appointment while you're still filling out paperwork. Empathy and/or sympathy is profound in that facility because they really do care about you. I know care is money in some cases but they don't leave me with the impression that they only care about the ladder. If you're able to see this facility I would recommend that you do. I will drive my family members anywhere I can within 2 hours to get her the best care. It's about an hour there and back for me but it's worth it. Sometimes you have to try 5 times before you say yes or no and that's really tough to assess when you are not feeling well. I guess you have to understand My meaning search for 10 times rather than 5. I don't think I can be disappointed nine times and on my 10th visit I leave which means most likely I'll be done in three or less.. Just my opinion I hope everybody who's not feeling well gets better soon."

"Great Doctors and Specialists if you can get in. I've been trying to get with Neurologist and Sports Med Specialists in Sac for months but they're super booked. The patient load on these doctors is way too high where they must manage their time, dismiss patients concerns or reschedule them for a second visit, or refer to the Sacramento location. Any of those options/visits could be months out. Even with Urgent Request from my primary healthcare provider to the Neurologist within UC, the wait was 4 month out for my severe migraine. My primary care doctor whom I've had for over 20 years is unavailable for months. I don't think I would want to stay with UC Davis any longer. UC system's been unfair to physicians and patients. Real sad!"

"1) My Doctor ordered blood labs on a Friday. On Monday they called me and said the lady forgot to turn the labs in and they went bad. I had to come back in to retake the labs. 2) At an appointment, my Doctor said he won't be prescribing any anxiety medication to any patients anymore and recommended a pain management specialist for anxiety. I never heard back. FYI, I do not take any painkillers. When I called to check in, the lady said he did not remember saying that. I asked her to ask him what I should do for anxiety since he forgot. I never heard back. 3) My Doctor sent me to a Neurologist for migraines and they could not get me in for 6 months. I asked if they could move me up since I'm moving out of state before then and my migraines were becoming worse and my urgent care visits for them more frequent. I never heard back. I called in to check and they said they would leave another note. I never heard back. 4) My Doctor ordered a CT scan of my brain for my migraines. They never called to schedule the appointment, I had to call them. Radiology called me a week later saying they wanted to schedule the CT scan. I told them I had already made the appointment and they said, "Oh yes, I see that here, I'm sorry" and hung up. I checked the day before the CT scan online (on MyChart) and my appointment was the same as when I made it. When I showed up the next day, it had been changed to an hour later without my consent or notifying me. *There are many other examples of neglect, disorder, or just general incompetence, but I think you get the idea. If there is a quality control department of some kind at this facility, they are not doing their job. Because clearly, no one in any department at this facility can function on an efficient level whatsoever. Thank God I'm moving...."
