"Had an appointment back in August of 2022 with Dr.Charo. Worst bedside manner. Tried to discuss options for my treatment. Her recommendation was evasive surgery. When I said I would like to try an alternative, like medication. Her attitude was very disagreeable. She didn't seem to be concerned about what I wanted to try and dismissed my opinion. I'm 68 years old and have type 2 diabetes. Major surgery should be a last resort. Long story short, someone from her office called today, 5 months later to ask if I had an IUD placement. Which I didn't want either. I'm so not impressed! If that's your level of care, it's appalling! And when I told the caller about her mannerisms and her attitude. I didn't even get a sorry you didn't have a good experience. The caller mirrored Dr. Charo's attitude. Wow, really. I have a wonderful new Oncologist. Who listens to me and has prescribed the hormone therapy I wanted to try. She's caring, honest, and I trust her diagnosis. If I need surgery in the future I know I would be in good hands. Never settle for a doctor you don't feel has your best interest and health both physically and mentally in mind. Life is too short."
