Studio 31 Dance Center

"This review is long overdue. My daughter has attended this studio the last 3 years (since she was 5) and I couldn't be happier with this studio. She's done jazz, hip hop, and has tried ballet. They offer trial classes which is great if your kid is unsure about what they want to sign up for, and it's also good to try out different teachers because while they're all great they might vibe with one teacher's personality/style of teaching over the other. I've heard so many issues from parents that have attended other studios in the area and I have nothing but great things to say about this one and always recommend it to the parents I talk to who are interested in switching studios or trying one for the first time. It is so not the typical studio/snobby dance mom vibe. They are so patient with your kiddo while they try to figure out what style of dance they like, pricing is fair, it's a fun family atmosphere, and it's very positive in every aspect (teamwork, respect, body positive, etc). My daughter is in hip hop with Miss Jazzy (who now also teaches adult hip hop which is a freakin blast) and she is AWESOME! She is firm but in a positive way and she'll definitely push your kid to be their best but never to the point that they break. Highly recommend this studio for anyone who has considered putting their son or daughter in dance, you won't regret it. Also, for the moms, the adult classes are great too! 10/10"

"We are new to this studio and I have nothing but good things to say about this dance center. My daughter has anxiety and is really shy, but I can already see how much this studio is bringing her out of her shell. All of the instructors are so open and kind and make the classes fun while learning how to dance. The owners, Ms Kellie and Ms Karol, are amazing, highly skilled and fun teachers, that immediately welcomed us into their dance family. The whole atmosphere is welcoming and I highly recommend this studio for both recreational students and those who want to join the award winning competition team."
