Connealy Leigh Erin MD

"In March 2017, the Medical Board of California charged Leigh Erin Connealy, M.D., with unprofessional conduct in her management of two patients. The complaint (shown below) indicates that in both cases, she failed to properly investigate symptoms that could have been due to cancers. In one case, the patient had bleeding due to uterine cancer but did not get diagnosed until she left Connealy’s care and consulted another doctor. In the other case, Connealy a woman was given several prescriptions for estrogen even though she had a breast lump that remained undiagnosed for more than three months. The case was settled by a consent agreement under which she was reprimanded for poor recordkeeping and ordered to take a recordkeeping course. Connealy founded and is medical director of the Center for New Medicine and a subsidiary called the Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine, California. The cancer center Web sites states that its focus is to “treat the while person—to look for the root cause of their cancer” and to “incorporate the best alternative and integrative therapies with proven conventional cancer treatments,” including hyperbaric oxygen, intravenous vitamin C, and “advanced medical technology usually only found in major hospitals and universities.” The site also claims that its “integrative cancer treatment is unique” and that Connealy is “one of the country’s leading integrative physicians.” Her CV and licensing records indicate that she had two years of postgraduate residency training in family practice but no specialty training in cancer treatment."

"She believes you cause your cancer, your cancer will return if you live in your “precancer” environment. Would not recommend. Furthermore, She removes comments from social media that present facts, peer reviews and articles that contradict her unsupported opinions. She blocks anyone who speaks to her about her disgusting stance on cancer, like she believes you are the reason you have cancer. Not genetics, no bad luck or whatever. She believes stress causes cancer, inflammation and your attitude causes your cancer. This narrative is toxic, will hinder healing for cancer patients; especially those who do not have the option of moving away from their “pre-cancer” environment."

"I found Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy many years back when my daughter was so very ill in her sophomore year in college. We had tried everything as I was very health minded and I had been for years but this illness was beyond everything we tried and every doctor we went to see. Then our pharmacist recommended Dr. Connealy. We went to see her and she spent time and listened and then did some testing and my daughter at age 22 was lacking in almost every hormone and had barely any thyroid and was so chronically fatigued she could barely function. That was many years back when we were all much younger☺️. We will never forget Dr. Connealy and ever be thankful for her compassion and kindness for many years until insurance changes took us away but what we learned kept us going for years. I just returned after Caring for my son during cancer and hospice at our home and quite a few surgeries! I am back to see Dr. Connealy with better insurance with Medicare/PPO and I am definitely in need of her TLC☺️ My daughter is a beautiful First Grade Teacher for 20 years now and loves every one of her students and She is loved by every student and parents alike. It takes a body in healthy balance to keep up and love teaching her little students. Everyone in the office has been wonderful and kind and on the phone making appointments and in the checkout buying products they get a five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating from me. The nurse is so sweet, I believe we should praise people for a wonderful job well done and they have done a wonderful job!"

"Had my first consultation with Dr. Connealy today. I found her to be bold, informative, confident to tell me that it was going to be something I would have to figure out financially but that she could help me to be protected against the chemotherapy that I’m getting and to possibly improve my chances of beating cancer. I am fourth late stage so I am real happy to have felt like I made a connection with a very empathetic human being who is also a very serious M.D. I look forward to working with her and to getting completely well God willing!"

"When I am there I feel like I have the best medical advise that anyone can get. Dr C is amazingly talented on figuring out what to do. I feel blessed to have her as my doctor. I am not scared of anything that can happen because I know she will be up to date with the most knowledgable information thats available. I wanted to add that the staff is NOT unorganized they are very caring. Its a large office with many people that care a great deal about doing a good job! I am there many times a year and I have never noticed anything other then positive vibes!!"
