"Every time I think about how I have been failed by mental health professionals, I think of my experience with this woman. Before she ghosted me I would show up on time to my appointments and end up waiting 10-20 minutes past my scheduled time because she was allowing other clients to use my time (I watched her walk out with them) and my session would still end early. I don't know if she thought I was less deserving of the time because I go through the VA for healthcare and don't pay out of pocket, or if I just wasn't worth the respect. Either way, it's highly unprofessional and a terrible message to send to a client struggling with mental health. I looked up reviews on Yelp and saw others with the same exact complaints as me and thought I would share my experience as to help someone else avoid feeling worse after every single session with a "therapist"."
