About the Business
Inclusive Education & Comm is a center located at 2323 Roosevelt Boulevard in Oxnard, California, United States. Our mission is to support schools, families, and community agencies in providing full access to life's experiences for individuals with disabilities. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to make friends, play, access school and community resources, learn, love, be loved, and live life to the fullest.
We understand that child behaviors are shaped by the interaction between the child and their environment. This interaction is influenced by the skills and understanding of all individuals involved. Healthy behaviors result from a harmonious match between the child and their environment. We work to educate and support all participants in creating a healthy environment for individuals with disabilities.
Our approach includes educating and empowering the individuals in the child's environment, making adaptations to the environment as needed, and providing instruction to the child in developmental and foundational areas to address challenging behaviors. While we focus on immediate strategies to address challenging behaviors and teach replacement behaviors, our ultimate goal is to foster long-term healthy functioning for both the child and their environment.
